What Christmas dinner would be the same without the classic favourite mashed potatoes? Here’s a new way to give the king of side dishes a little twist.
These simple ROSEMARY mashed potatoes will provide a tasteful complement to your Christmas dinner. (And of course, you can serve them all year round with your favourite dinner entree.)
• 4 medium Gold Potatoes
• 2 tbsp. Butter
• 2 tbsp. Oil
• 1 small Red Onion, chopped
• 2 cloves Garlic, minced
• 2 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
• 1/2 cup milk
• Salt, to taste
• Pepper, to taste
Place potatoes in pot with enough salted water to cover. Cook 30 minutes or until tender and drain. Add butter to potatoes and set aside. Add oil, garlic, and onions to skillet and cook until tender. Mash potatoes with onion mixture, milk, Rosemary oil, and salt and pepper to taste. For extra flavour, add more butter or fold in sour cream and a small amount of cream cheese.
