Yoga Therapy utilises a series of therapeutic exercises that work with the body to bring it back into balance. The aim of corrective exercises is to bring balance to the bodies energy flow in the meridians and assist the body in healing naturally. The targeted exercises work by correcting the function of the bodies organs, the body systems and they correct structural imbalances.

Corrective exercises can help with a broad range of health issues, including:

  • structural issues (e.g bone misalignment, poor posture, spinal alignment, scoliosis, joint problems)
  • functional issues (e.g. organs underworking or overworking, diabetes, asthma, allergies, digestive issues, women's health issues (irregular periods, PCOS, infertility, miscarriages and menopause issues)
  • behavioural and emotional issues (anxiety, stress, depression, ADHD, ADD, Autism)

Yoga correctives combine asanas, breath work, meditation and mindfulness. Sessions can be conducted on a one on one basis in Private Yoga Therapy sessions for adults and children. Yoga therapy sessions also form the basis of our kids yoga program, for one on one sessions, class sessions Zoom sessions.
