Little kids, big kids and big kids at heart come together to bond as a family in a fun and beneficial way. Age and developmentally appropriate yoga poses, animated breathing exercises and soothing relaxation techniques awaken the inner-child of all age participants.
“Children derive enormous benefits from their yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Yoga brings that marvellous inner light that all children have to the surface” - Yoga Journal

"Family Yoga! We love it! Lyn is an amazing children’s yoga teacher and she makes the yoga room a child friendly space full of joy. 😊 I have a just 3 year old boy and a 4.5 year old boy and we have been going to Yoga lessons with Lyn as a family for about 4 months. In that time my children have grown to love the storytelling approach, involvement, calm space and beautiful lessons. It wasn’t easy at the start but every week the boys grow in their ability to concentrate, focus on their breath, knowledge of different poses – all within a fun, safe, space where a child’s energy is expected and enjoyed in a spirit of participation. All a child’s senses are engaged throughout the class. This is not a class where we stay on our mat all the time, with Lyn (who has a background in Primary School teaching alongside her extensive Yoga qualifications) but rather one full of fun. I can wholeheartedly recommend Lyn and her children’s yoga classes. We go every week and she is always prepared with a mix of the familiar elements of the class plus adding something fresh to keep the children engaged. We have decided that family yoga will be a part of our regular life rather than just an extra." - Heidi
"Lyn is just the most amazing Yoga teacher! Her yin yoga classes are great for the soul - I come away feeling deeply relaxed but also energised. Lyn personalised her approach for me due to my back injury and within just a few sessions my sciatica disappeared. I can’t recommend her highly enough. We also take our kids (3 & 4 yrs old) to her for a family yoga session once a week and they have the time of their life. They love engaging in her well planned and thoughtful activities, and regularly practice what they have learned during the week. Highly recommended!!" - Simon
