Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and wellbeing through the application of the teachings and practices of yoga. Yoga therapy is used to aid conditions such as, but not limited to:
Yoga therapy uses exercises, asanas, breathing techniques, relaxation techniques, diet suggestions and more. It encompasses a whole body holistic approach. We work with corrective exercises to help bring the body back into balance and breathing and relaxation techniques to help calm the mind and body.
Yoga Therapy sessions for children and adults are 1 hour. They consist of a consultation, exercises and activities for you to follow up with at home. Each session is tailored to your individual health and wellbeing needs. Sessions can be conducted in person on the Sunshine Coast, or via Zoom from anywhere in the world.
